Oki , thank you so much

unfortunately , it did not work out and I have abondoned the idea of using hypermesh , anyway, thank you so much Mr adriano for your time , consideration and help . may  god bless you

unfortunately you've started with a model that is not so trivial, as it is a NL problem.

And having no experience with HM makes it a little bit difficult to start with this problem.

I would recommend you to go slowly...crawl, walk and run approach.

Exactly Mr adriano. I wish one day you can make a tutorial about those continuum robots. ( flexible structure ) in hypermesh.

I came back again , I have finally found the solution , I just need to draw a pre-curved beam  and mesh it using nodes , is it possible to create a pre-curved cylindrical beam as show in the picture below .
waiting for your answer Mr. adriano

you can import the geometry or create it in HM.

I'd say that creating this geometry in Inspire is easy.

But again, you will need to spend some time to learn the basics of HM for building these analysis.

thank you so much Mr adriano , I have started learning it and I am amazingly improving. but  sometimes I come across ideas which does not exist in tutorials.  this is why I turn into your help.  the beam you created is hollow ( empy inside)  while  must be full and I have to delete that additonnal node which stands alone !!!

having a complete torus surface, you just need to create a solid using the 'solids' panel.

just make sure to have the surfaces enclosing a volume.

just reviewing my video before, there's no need to create the larger circle that I did. I was thinking to use the 'drag using line', and ended-up not using it.

even its node can be deleted , I mean the node of the large circle !!

when I click on solid torus , it pops up : no surfaces have been selected

the last question Mr adriano , how can I make this beam full and delete that node which stands alone  !!!
it is very important to have your answer , it is the last step before I apply the follower force.
I am very thankful Mr adriano.

    your surfaces are not closed.

You need to create surfaces for the caps of the tube.

after all, just delete what is not needed and for the temp nodes, use the geom>>temp nodes to clear all temporary nodes.

you have not removed the temp node, as i've suggested before.

So this node is flying in space, and you have constrained this node only.

So as the rest of your model is not properly constrained, your NL analysis does not converge.

clear the temp nodes, redo your boundary condition and then re-run the analysis.

Great , no error but the animation of beam seems like it changes its shape when bending!!!

for a force ( 2N) , it is peroperly done.

Dear , Mr adriano , you really walked me through a great method to simulate a follower force , and it will be the fifth chapter in my thesis ( you will be mentioned there)  , So , is there a way in hypermesh to calculate the ( x1 x2 x3 ...xn) when applying the force , see the picture bellow

assuming that you have your model running and you got the result, this would be just the global 'y' displacement component of your model, that you can easily contour in HyperView and then query.

Yep the model is properly working , How to query  !!!

in HyperView, plot the displacement in the desired direction, and then use 'Query', and click the desired nodes.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>image.thumb.png.c8e1d0efc6c086d2b5b1cd4c45503661.png

or you can use the 'measure' function, use 'node path' and pick your nodes of interest, and 'Create Curves' to plot them. (value x distance)

i meant, go to 'contour' panel, and choose the desired displacement component to plot.

If you want a graph, instead of using query, use measure, as I've shown before.
