Scattered Electric/Incident Electric Field Ratio/ Units

I have a superposition of plane waves as my source and am calculating the scattered far field of an object. I would like to look at the ratio of the incident field and scattered far electric field. To calculate the incident electric field I am requesting a near field calculation which gives me the incident electric field in V/m.  I noticed that for far field results the electric field is given in Volts as opposed to V/m because of the factor of 1/R in the calculation of E_far. How should I accommodate this unit mismatch?

    Hi pmcardle

You could just request a scattered near field sufficiently far away from the object.
