I am simulating an object over a half planar Green's function. I am calculating the total far field in one particular direction, but there is not a difference whether or not I include the incident field on the results. To check this I calculated the total near field in the far field zone with and without and the incident field. In this case including the incident field changes the results, as expected. Does the total far field calculation exclude the incident field for the half planar Greens Function?
