When using Monarch COM via Excel VBA we receive OLE errors

When calling/using Datawatch Monarch 15 COM via Excel VBA within a Citrix VDI we receive OLE errors and additional licenses get consumed eventually consuming all our available licenses.  The application was properly installed but we attempted (as an administrator) to run 'monarch.exe /register' as a troubleshooting option however we still encounter the error.  License Manager GUI shows we are properly licensed and changing the logging level within has no impact/interaction when calling COM.  The OLE error is sporadic so I am wondering if this is a timeout issue when the COM tries to communicate across the Internet to a licensing server?  Is there any logs or troubleshooting someone can provide?  FYI I checked the Event Viewer and nothing worthwhile shows up and I can find no additional Monarch application logging.  The Excel VBA code was previously being used on a physical workstation without issue prior to the move to a Citrix hosted Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Hi @Don Cameron

You may need your Monarch License to be Citrix enable which sounds to be the newest change to your environment.  You also mentioned you are on Monarch v.15 which is no longer supported and recommendation will be to upgrade to either the latest version 2022(v.18) or one revision back v.2021(v.17).   The Data Analytics Team will be able to further assist; however, first recommendation will be to upgrade.
