Hi,

I have designed an axial flux motor with Flux. If I try to simulate it, Flux gives me the following error:

'The sliding surface of the mechanical set ROTOR
is not a revolution surface
Concerned face(s) : 59 60 63 65 279 280 281 282 283 284 285 286 287 288 289 290 291 292 293 309 311 313 315 317 319 321 323 325 327 329 331 333 335 337'

The concerned faces are the side faces of the permanent magnets. What might be the problem ?

    Hi,

Can you check the physics of the device (if you assign the right mechanical set to the volumes).

Can you share your Flux project( format zip with out mesh).

    Best regards.

Thanks for the file. Can you modify the mechanical set of the volume region : mobile air. put 'rotor' instead of the 'stator'.

    Best regards.
