HyperWorks Connector Troubleshooting

Good morning,

I'm searching for some guidance on how to troubleshoot failed connectors in Hyperworks version 2022.2. I've attached the .hm file corresponding to the images below for reference.

Here are the problems I'd like to resolve:

  • connector ID1 resolved across two edges as anticipated.
  • connector ID2 is intended to be a butt weld using the seam-quad LTB control. The surfaces are coplanar and I've tried a range of connector tolerances, but the "Incomplete realization" error persists.
  • connector ID4 is a lap weld with a vertical and angled shell weld. How do I switch the direction of the angled shell element row? It's pointing inward toward the lap seam by default.
  • connector ID5 is a T connection with some overhang. I am unable to get this to realize alone or along with the other connectors.
  • connector ID6 generated elements, but is displaying a "quad transition error." Can you give guidance on how to address? Do you have any tips for working through the transitions for the corners where 3 or more weld seams are coming together?
