Phase shifting in SParameter Configuration- FEKO
Hello,
i want o know under SParameter configuration.
If i have many Antennas, than how can i make a phase shifting between the antennas.
In Feko i can make some antennas active, but how can i change the phase????
Is it possible to make it in this way 50*exp*(j*45) etc?!?!??!
Thanks in Advance
Best regards

Hi Kuzi
From your description it sounds like you are trying to feed many antenna elements in an array. Please note that the SParameter configuration is specifically for requesting and calculating S-parameters between multiple ports. It is not intended for exciting antenna elements. This is done using a StandardConfiguration.
For your application you should consider using the Finite Arrays tool:
This allows you to create a single antenna element and then specific the number of array elements as well as the distribution (including the magnitude and phase of the element excitations).
More information on this tool can be found under the Feko Help. You could also have a look at Example A17 of the Feko Example Guide.
Kind regards,

Hello,
thank you for your support,
this will help me but unfortunattely i met another issue.
When i use this Array.
If i am using a patch antenna, and this patch antenna is in the middle.
When i make a circular patch antenna array. The origin patch antenna will stay in the middle.
How can i delete him? Or maybe shift it and make 7 another patches?!?!?!?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Kuzi,
the original element in the center will not be considered in the simulation. You can see it as a template for the array elements. If you have a look at POSTFEKO you can see it's not visualized:

Hi, i'm ira and currently i'm doing project about array antenna . I want to ask if i have more than 1 antenna, how i want to make the electric field for each antenna focus at 1 point?
