Hello ,

i want to know how can i simulate the RCS of a material under test with a normal antenna instead of a plane wave?

I need it because i want  to measure the RCS with vortex waves or OAM waves.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Mohamed

Feko supports active RCS, but you still would need a plane wave - i.e. you should have both a voltage source (for your antenna) and a plane wave to get active RCS output.

    Hi @Kuzi,

I think there are methods to calculate the RCS based on radiated near field results (near field to far field transformation). I don't know details about it, but Dr. Andre Rennings may have some knowledge here.
