"A segmentation error occurred" when I want to import a stp file into hyperworks

Every time i try to import a stp file into Hyperworks, it gives me an error of segmentation and in the left bottom corner it says "components must be specified"

I tried to change file but nothings changed. I tried to uninstall-install the programm and it didn't work. Even deleting some particular files as i read in some other links of the forum was useless.
Any idea of the problem?

    for such request, it may be better to submit a support request.

    To start with, let me bring in some questions:

    - what is the version of HyperMesh?

    - from which software did you populate the step file?

    - what is your operating system?

     

    Also, there should be a *.msg file populated in My Documents folder with some extra messages. Does it contain any information of interest?

    I have the edu 2022 version. 
    The step file is from solidworks, i tried with catia and creo too but nothing changed at all.
    I have windows 11.

    I tried to find the .msg file in my computer but i can't find anything.
