Hi Stephanie,That depends on how your report is arranged. If rev codes is nicely formatted in a column then you can use the Advanced tab of Edit Field Properties when defining fields/columns during report trapping. Note that the screen capture is from Data Prep Studio Report Design but Monarch Classic also has this feature.Or you can extract succeeding lines using the Group Footer template. If you can show us a sample of how your report is formatted that would be helpful.Hope this helps,Mela------------------------------Mela SarenasSoftware Quality ManagerDatawatch CorporationBedford MA+ 1.800.445.3311-------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Message:Sent: 02-12-2019 04:18 PMFrom: Stephanie LynchSubject: Remit lines that vary I have a remit that has lines that vary in the length. So 1 patient could have 5 lines but other could have 8. It just depends on how many rev codes are listed. I have gotten all the data that is the same and in the same place for all the patients trapped and ready. It's just the data in the rev codes that I have an issue with.If I do these separate, then I pull in the monthly totals that throw off the rows so they don't align with the correct patients.I am not sure what is the best way to fix this.Thanks.------------------------------Stephanie LynchNet Revenue AnalystSt. Thomas HealthTN615.284.7376------------------------------"
I wish it was that easy. I have 4 lines that are the same for every patient. I have been able to get that data, no problem. after that the lines vary depending on how many rev codes were billed to Medicare. Some could be 1 line, some could be 5. There is also the drg weight that I need to pull. I tried to pull that in a separate template, but since there are monthly totals at the end of each remit, those monthly totals throw off the alignment.------------------------------Stephanie LynchNet Revenue AnalystSt. Thomas HealthTN615.284.7376-------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Message:Sent: 02-13-2019 03:41 AMFrom: Mela SarenasSubject: Remit lines that varyHi Stephanie,That depends on how your report is arranged.
