Hello,
I am electrical engineering student and I have started using the PSIM software.
I have installed PSIM through Altair website and activated it using the student license key I've recieved.
For some reason, all SimCoder library components are disabled (and cannot be enabled)

I have added a picture below.
What can I do to fix this issue ?
Thanks!

    Hi Ohad,

the code gen is not included in the free student license, this and the cosimulation with simulink are the only two limitations

Full professional licenses for academic use are available, which university are you with? there could be access already.

    Hi Ohad,

Please see the following limitations of Altair PSIM Student Edition:

    1. Altair PSIM Student Edition includes only "Motor Drive" feature with no limits on the number of elements.

    2. The "Motor Drive" feature includes the following modules/product: PSIM (including Spice Links), Motor, Digital, Thermal, and Renewable Energy.

    3. The "Motor Drive" feature also includes the following design suites (DS): Power Supply DS, Motor Control DS, EMI DS, and HEV DS.

    4. Altair PSIM Student Edition does not include Power Supply, Code Gen, and Co-simulation features.

    Regards,

Mark Qin - PM of PSIM
