Hyperworks crashing when importing geometry files

I have a problem with hyperworks student edition.

The program is crashing every time I try to import a geometry file, I tried with multiple file formats, like .stp .iges .stmod, and nothing is working.

I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, and even making a clean up, but nothing works.

So is there a solution to that?

this is an issue with the current HW student edition readers ... this will be fixed in the next release of the student edition which will be the same package as the full version,
