I am receiving significant deviations in measuring Joules losses in magnet and Sleeve when I change the no. of solving steps. Is it because I am solving it with respect to the rotor position instead time..?

    Hello Pranav;

    If you are using imposed speed, so drive the scenario by time or rotor position it is exactly the same thing. However, the time step here has a big impact on the computation, espicially because we have to make a derivative of the magnetic flux on the considered solid conductors. So if you have the frequency, you can compute the period, and you can use like 30 or 40 step / period, this will allow you to have the right time step to use.

    In addition to that, one has to take care on the skin effect, so you have to adapt your mesh in order to compute well the eddy current in this area.
