Units in Hypermesh CFD
Hi, I have a question with how it works the units in hypermesh CFD. I'm doing a simulation of a car and the dimensions are in mm (MMKS) so the dimensions are similar to 4000 milimeters when I measure it, the problem is when I want to mesh the diferent parts of the car, the numbers are to high due to its units, so I tried to change the U.S which is in preferences-->sketching-->units. The question is when I change the U.S to MKS the dimensions of the car are the same when I measure it but it shoudn't, maybe it only changes in the sketch section. How it works the units and how can I change the dimensions of the model?
Thanks.

During the CAD import process, there is a way to define target units.
Or if already imported the process via "Scale" in previous post is useful.

You may be looking to Scale the existing model. In the Geometry ribbon, in the pull-down arrow for the Edit section of tools, you'll find 'Scale'.

BTW; HyperMesh CFD, generally expects SI (MKS) units for most of inputs (as default Material properties are MKS).
e.g. Unit in rotating reference frame is radians/sec0 -

That's what I was looking for, Thanks!
