Basic-FEA analysis

I am trying to simulate a basic cantilever Beam using Basic-FEA tool. I have the beam meshed with HEX8 elements. As soon as I click the 'run analysis' button, the mesh is automatically changed to TET mesh. Could somebody help me with why this is happening?

    Hi Chhavi,

     

    Why don't use directly HyperMesh with OptiStruct solver ?
