It is possible to simulate realized gain for single source in any antenna structure, how to do the same for two and more sources in the same structure?

In any antenna for example loop or quad, I can calculate realized gain for any source impedance if this source is alone in this structure. So I can fined optimal source impedance when antenna realized gain will be maximal. I would like to do the same when antenna used two or more sources. In FEKO when antenna has some sources realized antenna gain can't be presented.

The realised gain quantity in POSTFEKO is only available for models with single sources.

To get realised gain for antennas with multiple sources, for example array antennas, you must scale the gain by the power ratio:

Psource_total / Pavailable_total

where Psource_total is the sum of all the source powers and Pavaiable is the sum of the total available power of each source.

Psource can be plotted directly in POSTFEKO as shown below:

Psource is also given in the ASCII out file, for example:

Pavailable can be manually computed for each source by subtracting the mismatch loss power from Psource. Another option is to request Feko to compute the mismatch loss power which will be given in POSTFEKO directly below:

NOTE: POSTFEKO will only plot the "Power loss due to mismatch" when the power setting requested in CADFEKO is set as shown below (here mismatch loss power will be computed relative to 50 Ohm):

Once you have the scale factor Psource_total / Pavailable_total you can use Maths in POSTFEKO to scale the Gain to Realised Gain.
