Matching mesh in Force data collection

Hi,

I have a question regarding the mesh import in the data exchange>Data support section.

I am trying to import the mesh to flux from hypermesh and then find the forces on imported nodes.

For me to perform the force data collection, Does the imported mesh should have matching nodes w.r.t the the mesh generated by altair flux?.

Hi Divin,

No, it doesn't need to be the same, the force will be computed on the airgap and then it will be mapped/projected to the imported mesh.
