Editing mesh density in HyperMesh

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand how I can edit element density after meshing (either solid meshing, or hex meshing, or tetra meshing, or 2D meshing)

The Density icon is always faded out, and I can't select it.

If I choose from the mesh ribbon Edit Elements, it's choosing me only several edges but they are blacked out and I can't change the node density

What are the criteria for choosing the elements for edit? Or do I have to delete all the elements and start again?

Thanks in advance

    Hello Niv,

You can only edit the density of 2d mesh after creation

For editing density on a 3d mesh, as you show, you would have to handle that during creation

Or you can split the solids
