are 3d splines / curves sketching available?

Is it possible to make a 3D sketch of a spline or curve based on 3d points in the coordinate system?

From what little I could find - I can only make planar splines and I can't even make a tangency constraints between them (even on the same plane).

Can anyone confirm if it is not possible? Needed for a morphing application.

    Nevermind - I solved it myself. 

    For those who want to know - through the Topology Ribbon, you can add lines in 3d coordinates, and later add a spline through these points. Adding walkthrough.
