Hello everyone. I have a Monarch project that has information on sales per year on every country. I've been able to do some prep and I'm happy with it right now but it would be really convenient to have the information for every country on a separate excel file. Is there a way to get Monarch to create these outputs automatically?
thank you
Hi Paula,
Yes please see the attached files. This is one way you can approach the challenge;
Here are screenshots of the steps as well;
1. Export Data
2. Import Data as a CSV into Monarch Classic
3. Create a Summary
4. Export by Summary Key:
5. Run the Export :-)
Hi Paula, Yes please see the attached files. This is one way you can approach the challenge; Export Your data as a CSV from the Data Prep Studio Import that CSV into Monarch Classic Create a Summary in Monarch Classic based on the columns you need. I did have to create a 'count' column for this to work. Finally, leverage the ability to export dynamically by a Summary Key in Monarch Classic to create the unique excel file for each country. Run the Export :-) Here are screenshots of the steps as well; 1. Export Data 2. Import Data as a CSV into Monarch Classic 3. Create a Summary 4. Export by Summary Key: 5. Run the Export :-)
