As like above title, I want to check the Contact Pressure between two surfaces which tightened by tie-bolt.
Each surfaces are contacted by slide and connected by some tie bolts which have pretension load.

Until now, I used the CONTF card to check the contact pressure. However, The result was a little bit different from what i thought.

If contact traction SPOS/Normal(Pressure) is really contact pressure, it might be show no negative value .

So, I am confused.

How can i check the Contact Pressure?

    Hi Jaehan,

Contact traction/normal represents Normal contact pressure when you request for CONTF.

This is obtained for the grids on secondary surface during nonlinear solution of the finite element model and the raw data is post-processed for pressure output on both the secondary and main surfaces.

Is the part showing negative pressure is in compression?

Can you check the pressure value without SPOS option?

    Thanks

Without SPOS, contact traction Normal(Pressure) case also show similar phenamenon. It also have negative value but also positive value.
