How to compute airgap forces?

I need to calculate the airgap forces in a PM motor. I want to calculate them using the Maxwell stress tensor on a line in the middle of the airgap. Any idea how to do this?

Hello Jaime;

 

For classical radial flux machine, there is in flux a dedicated 3D curve to compute Bn or Bt, as well as magnetic pressure Pn or Pt, that you can use to compute magnetic forces using maxwell tensor.

 

Please find in attachment an extract from the help about this 3D curve.
