Should I use the same file name for computation results in ProMan?

Hi people,

I've been running some simulations in ProMan with simple databases.

I've come to notice that during computation time, Winprop's ProMan prompts me with a window that asks for a destination folder (twice with each simulation).

Since it is escentially the same simulation, I decided to type in the same name on both windows, ticking the box to "overwrite" if necessary. However, when repeating the same simulation, if I assign a unique folder name for each one of these two prompt windows, the results change drastically.

To my criteria, the propagated wave looks more accurate when I use two different folder names within the same simulation's computation process. However, I would like to know what is the correct approach towards this.

As you are asking for both propagation and network analysis results, write them to two separate folders to avoid overwriting and easy access (if additional post processing is needed).
