Solving time

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with Inspire cast. It takes too much time to solve a tutorial model, although i set up the number of CPU in preference like this.

Hello,

Solving time will depend on many parameters such as complexity of the geometry, element size chosen, velocity (could make the solver converge slower), casting process, ...

Which tutorial model are you using and how much time does it take?

Here is the tutorial that i'm doing

It takes about 6 hours but has not completed yet although I did exactly steps and filled accurately parameters in the tutorial.

Hello,

Something is wrong in your setup that causes the solver to take a very long time to converge. On my machine it takes 5 minutes to solve on 4 cores.

Hi,
When i used Inspire cast 2019, it took too much time to solve the problem, but when i used v2018.3, it took 15 minutes to solve this problem. And i assure that i set up the problem exactly like the tutorial.
