ERROR 832: Segmentation rules have been violated

Hello All,

Currently I am working on calculation of vehicle RCS using asymptotic approach.  I have tried many *.stl car models with low mesh density, but ERROR 832 did not give me to complete all my simulations. The issue was discussed many times in different forums, and some solutions were proposed. Unfortunately all these solutions do not help me.

Thus I ask the question again here, and attached a certain model of car. Can you provide me some hints how to overpass the problem?

    Hello Dimon,

The issue was discussed many times in different forums, and some solutions were proposed. Unfortunately all these solutions do not help me.

What forums? What problems were identified and what solutions were proposed?

calculation of vehicle RCS using asymptotic approach.

What method are you trying to use? Is it RL-GO?

I see 342 intersecting mesh triangles after importing the model. These need to fix corrected before you can use the model. CADFEKO does have some mesh editing capabilities, but HyperMesh would be much better suited to fixing a model like this - the best would be to fix it in the source program, if possible.

    Hello JIF.

Actually, before to write my question here, I have randomly googled the error. It was proposed to union the triangles without common edge. But it does not work well.

However, HyperMesh may help indeed for my RL-GO RCS calcualtion. Thank you for you advice! You are the best!
