Hi,
I am trying to simulate one-stator-2 rotor type axial flux motor with FLUX.
I found the Application notes - Axial Flux Motor, but the "step by step" pdf file does not show how to do back EMF computation and Study at imposed speed although the description of the note says there are example for them. the pdf file ends at Example1, which is cogging torque computation. So, I have no idea how to make coils, electrical circuit, and set solving scenario.

Also, I noticed that there is a macro, AFIRMachine. it does everything I want but that macro is made specifically for two-stator single rotor type.
Is there any material that shows how to simulate one-stator-two rotor type axial flux motor from building the model to complete the simulation(not just for cogging torque.)
Or is there anyway I can modify the AFIRMachine macro so I can simulate one-stator-two rotor type axial flux motor?
Thank you
Hiroki

    Hello Hiroki;

    The Back EMF test circuit is always similar for all 3 phases machines, you can for instance follow the same steps as in the following tutorial:

    How to build a 3D Step Skew Motor ? (altair.com)

    You can also launch the AFIR Macro, and have a look on the Flux project generated. You can see the non meshed coils used and the circuit coupling as well. The symmetry plan is put on the Rotor, so we do have one rotor and two stators, you can modify this project and put the symmetry plan on the stator, so you will have one stator and two rotors.
