*.fem file is not updated with model changes

Hello all,

I am having some troubles while exporting *.fem files. I started with a file with the components shown in Image 1. After some changes, I ended with the components shown in Image 2. Then, using the export tool, I export the solver deck using the parameters shown in Image 3. The problem is that when I load the exported file, I am still getting the components as shown in Image 1. None of the changes made are kept.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Andrés Uribe

    Hi,

under Export options, you have set the Export to Custom. Click Select Entities which will take you to Entity State browser where you can define which entities are exported.

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for your quick answer. I checked all the Entities (as shown below, Image) and still have the same result as before (Image 2).  It seems that the export file does not contains any changes I made.  I am importing the file as shown below. Maybe I am missing something.

    Thanks again,

This is strange. Can you share the model file in .hm format?

actually I cant, but there is any explanation why this could happen? The original file had some 'includes' which I deleted. Maybe the new file is still connected to these includes somehow?

I have explained how it is supposed to work. The issue is likely in your model and I can only guess without the model.
