I cannot run "almutil.exe" (Altair Licence Manager)

I activated my student licence so I can use HyperWorks, but once I installed everything and try running "almutil.exe" in the default folder, it just closes the app instantly, therefore I cannot activate my licence.

-Running it as Admin didn't help

-Reinstall didn't help

Any advice on this case? I rapidly need it for homework.

can't you just open the 'licensing' tab in the HyperWorks itself?

When I open the application it is asking for a licence, but it's asking for a Local Server and a Local File, but the only thing I got at the Altair One site is a code in XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format.

Right now I don't fill these out correctly, it exits the application automatically once I close the licence window, so I cannot click anywhere (on "File" for example) to try another method.

It has been solved: The instructions were wrong, it wasn't "almutil.exe" I had to run, but "almutil_gui.exe" (which is in a folder at the same place as the base exe).
