Consolidation-penetration test

Hi, I would like to replicate a consolidation-penetration test in EDEM, in which a material bed is first consolidated with a lid up to a certain pressure, after which the material bed is penetrated with a tool. Is it possible to specify a consolidation pressure directly in EDEM? See a corresponding picture for my simulation.

Hi GertJan,

You can set the pressure using the force control kinematic.  This is covered in the e-learning Lesson 5.4 'motion control'.
