I am a new bee working in the Lab as a masters student and i am  trying to design a 3 phase transformer  from the examples in 3D. please how can i get the values for the copper and iron loss because the pdf provided for the 3 phase transformer example did not provide that. also i would appreciate if there is a video that show how this is implemented so that i can further my research. thank you as i await your response

What Altair product are you using so that I can direct your question to the proper forum.

    Hi Peter,

    You can compute :

    1. Copper losses can be computed by creating a sensor on losses by the Joule effect and selecting the coil conductors you assigned to transformer coils.
    2. Core iron losses can be computed using our iron losses model in Altair Flux. You can find the explanation in the video: https://youtu.be/8_I2SHCKqfY?si=zDndc2nWMTPMhjhP

    Thank you,

    Lavanya
