Common Mesh for 2 Solids

Dear Altait Support,

I have some problems with multi meshing. What I mean: there are two solids, which must be meshed separately, but they must have a common mesh. Unfortunately, I could not find any command for this and any similiar case on YouTube.

Sincerely,

Alex

    Hello Oleksander Savysko,

    you can refer to tutorial

    HM-3220: Create a Hexahedral Mesh

It explains how to run hexa mesh with contiguous solids.

Basically, you need to make sure they have a common face (either by boolean operations, or solid trim). By displaying solid by 3D Topology, the face will appear in yellow once the face is common to both solids.

Then you can mesh both solids and they will respect the same mesh on the common face

    Best Regards,

    Michael
