Hey,

I see that a few particles are frozen in my simulation, the number of particles frozen in the simulation only increases with time, I have attached the settings for my dynamic domain.

Please advise

Thanks,
Kiran

    Hi Kiran,

The particles should only freeze once they are stationary (defined as stationary if they only move within 10% of their radius for 0.1 s).  It looks strange on the video like there is a wall they are sticking to, is there any boundary not shown?  Or any physics causing the particles to be stationary at that point?

    Regards

    Stephen

    Hello Stephen,

There are no boundaries that could be causing this issue.

I'm wondering what might have triggered this

    Hi Kiran,

Could you zip and share the input files? We can review to see what is happening in this case.

    Hey,

I tried rerunning the simulation, but I still see the particle freezing midway.

Is there a reason why this might be happening?

    Thanks,

    Kiran
