DEM result comparison

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a comparative study proving how DEM is superior or where it lacks in comparison to a Eulerian Granular DDPM simulation for particle accumulation.
I know this is not thr right platform to ask this question, but I'd like to know what you think.

Hi Kiran,

I don't have a direct comparison reference but if you want to see a summary of the different particle-fluid options available from Altair this is highlighted in a recent webinar:

Fundamentally DEM replaces the approximation of particle-particle and particle-equipment contacts with the explicitly calculated forces.
