Improve quality Mesh Orthogonality

Hello,

I try to improve my mesh quality Orthogonality, I have 36 failed min Orthogonality,

despite a Mesh> Check > Elements > Solid Mesh Optimization,

it still 36 failed Min orthogonality

Did anyone have a solution to solve it?

Hello,

Try find attached tetras and then remesh the patches.

Did you try Simlab? I heard it generates higher quality tetra models.

Hi,

Thanks for you answers.

Finally I changed my computational algorithm in my volume meshing (with the advices of Altair support! )

I process with the following pannels :

it is the tetramesh parameters (with the Optimize Mesh quality define with the User Controlled) and (the tet collapse to 0.800) which allows to generate mesh without failling elements!

Note : A process to improve mesh when it is done can be use on the Mesh > Check > Elements > Solid Mesh Optimization (with edit criteria to fix ortogonality : 16 case to coch) then fix max iteration (10) and click on Fix...
