Facing problem in defining steering lock

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently built front trailing arm suspension with pitman arm steering model. Previously I was simulating my model with some default inputs but now I've defined all custom inputs for my model. The model simulation looks good but log file does not, it gives many warnings for the model. 

Some of the major warnings shown are

1. The axle seems to be steered , but no travel locks have been defined.

2. Virtual Steer axis and derived values, such as Caster Trail or Scrub radius may be highly inaccurate.'

3. Travel compliance is vey high

Hi Sudip,

These warnings are present as you have potentially exceeded some predefined values that the solver checks by default to ensure a well-defined model. Since the simulation completed and you say the simulation looks good, then I would not obsess over these warnings. If you have an atypical suspension with large allowable suspension travel, then that would be enough to trigger these warnings.

I would be extra mindful, however, of results you are extracting from the SDS reports due to these warnings. Try to do your own rough calculations to ensure these SDS values are feasible for your own peace of mind.
