How to make the vehicle follow a curved road
Hi,
I have a curved road profile, now i want to run the vehicle on this curved road following the road profile.
Basically i need to steer the vehicle to follow the road profile.
Is there any event, in which road profile is considered and steer the vehicle along this profile

Hi Sreedhar - Please use this tutorial to understand how this functionality works.
There are help articles which elaborate further:

Thanks,

Hi Sreedhar,
Please try a road course drive event. In the dialog of road course event,
- use "Road Centreline" in path profile. Driver will automatically extract the centre line of road and will use it as a steer line
- In the Road Parameters, select 'Road File' from Road Selection drop down. Provide the path to your road file
- Run the event
You can visit the following url for more help

Yes, i have already tired using the road center line and the curved option also.
for road center line i am getting below error ( Using CRGE road in Auto tires)
For Curved option i see the error related to the Spline as road is curved ( going from +X to -x)

Hi Sreedhar,
I downloaded this road file and checked the csv file that comes along with it. This csv file contains the road centerline and has x data in increasing order
In your message, the x data seems to carry negative sign. Please cross check it once.
Also send me your email id so that I can schedule a call.

Sreedhar - For issues with specific models, please contact your local support using Altair One (Create Case) OR create a post here in this forum, but not both. Also avoid sharing personal details such as email, since this is a public forum. I see you have already created a case in Support, so let's continue the discussion there. Thanks for your understanding.
