Element Quality Mismatch

If i start a new modelling in Hypermesh by importing the IGES model and mesh it, after that if i check the element quality (say for skew), all elements are passing for this skew criteria and max skew observed was 40.00.

After that if i export the same model as bdf/dat and then re-import that bdf/dat file into Hypermesh, after that if i check the element quality it is varying, Max skew is coming around 40.65.

I'm facing this issue for TET collapse criteria also. It happened with me for lot of models not for only one.

I'm currently using Hypermesh 2019 version in Windows 10 machine.

Anyone else faced this issue before?

    Yes we knew that issue.

When you check in hm, it is full precision

But export to bdf it's only 8 digits in short format

You can use long format or simply set criteria to 39.9 instead of 40.0
