Hi,

is it possible somehow to hide only the minmal value particles when using the Continuum Plane tool?

Thanks

    Hi Clemens,

You can use the 'hide out of bounds' option for the colouring.  This is in most options in EDEM when colouring particles, including as a part of the continuum tool.

In this case i've set the min value for Solid Fraction to be just above 1 so any area of the simulation that has solid fraction 0 is not shown.

    Hi Stephen,

thanks for the reply. If i set the MAX value for say velocity to value below the actual maximum velocity i get better coloring of the overall particles. At the same time i want to hide all particles which are outside my domain (hence velocity = 0) thats why i use the hide function. This also excludes all the particles with a higher velocity than my MAX value however. So i'm wondering if there is a work around for achieving both.. Thanks

    hi Clemens,

Could you use more levels, for example setting to 7 colouring levels and having the top few the same colour may work?
