"*RELEASE" in Hypermesh?

Is there any way to use Abaqus release command in Hypermesh directly? I mean instead of editing HM input file.

    Hi,

    sorry i'm not a Abaqus user and i don't understand what you mean with 'RELEASE' command?

    What the command are doing? What is the environment (Standard3D, Standard2D or Explicit)?

    What is a HM input file for you?

    Please describe your problem more in detail.

    For me 'Release' is the setting of free DOF's in Beams, Bars... (1D->Bars->pin a & pin image/emoticons/default_cool.png' alt='B)'>

    To set the Abaqus *RELEASE codes for beam elements, you need to assign entries in the 'pins a' and 'pins b' fiields of the 1D page, 'bars' panel.

    PINS value Release code

    4 T

    5 M2

    45 M2-T

    46 M1-T

    56 M1-M2

    456 ALLM
