How to Orient View To Be Parallel to a Plane

I want to be able to change the view so that the plane of the computer monitor screen is parallel to an arbitrary plane of my choosing in the model.

I thought there was a function in HyperMesh that did this easily. Did they do away with it? Am I think of some other modeling software? (NO! That can't be it!)8-[

Does anybody remember this feature and or know how to do this quickly and easily?

    Hi Phil,

    press 'T' to enter panel 'true view', you can define view direction
