Rainflow command on Compose

Hi,

I would like to extrapolate cycles from a random load history with Rainflow method, using the rainflow command on Compose. However, I do not fully understand how the parameters bin, minrange, maxrange work and affect the rainflow cycle decomposition. Is there an example/tutorial which might be clearer than the help section itself?

In order to do the cycle counting:

You need these parameters to set the criteria. The bins to divide the data are calculated based on these 3 parameters you mentioned, because:

Bin width = (Upper Limit - Lower Limit)/Number of bins.
