How to confirm whether the plane wave source applied to a model in FEKO is TE,TM or TEM? Isn't it supposed to be always in TEM mode? I need it for the purpose of analysis of a unit cell metamaterial.
The E-field polarisation direction is shown by the red arrow. In the below, it would be TE mode.
You can set this in the Polarisation angle (degrees) box.
Therefore a value of 0 would be TM.
For unit cells you would use the "Calculate orthogonal polarisations" check box which will calculate both TE and TM, so I presume that would be TEM in your case.
