Meshing for linear motor
I have several question:
1) How to get the good meshing on the geometry either to edit the geometry or just edit meshing.
2) Is meshing effect during running the solver?
3) Can someone assist me how to edit meshing.
4) What is different between meshing point, meshing line and meshing face.
Thank you.

Hi,
Here the answers of your questions:
-
To check the quality of the mesh, once the mesh is done you have the possibility to do check mesh. This function gives you the quality of the good element, poor element… etc of the mesh.
-
Yes, if you have a several poor elements on your mesh this maybe effect the solving (problem of convergence)
-
In Flux, there are different types of the mesh:
-
Automatic mesh, the mesh is done by Flux
-
Users mesh, this mesh will be created by the user (for example assign mesh point, mesh lines…etc)
-
Mixed mesh, you can use both automatic and user mesh
-
To edit the automatic mesh: mesh >> aided mesh >> edit
-
For the user mesh, general data >> mesh >> mesh tool, you select the mesh (line, face) point
-
You can see in the help of Flux the difference between mesh point, lines and face:

Best regards.
