I am stuck on what to put in the the Expression and Value fields (Setup -  Definition - Define Output Responses - under the Define Output Responses Tab).  I want the RCS output to the RCS from Feko. And I want Volume to be the volume of the Sphere. I am not sure how to got about that. I have been following the http://2021.help.altair.com/2021.2/hwdesktop/hst/topics/design_exploration/output_responses_expression_define_t.htm

It may be easiest in your case to just have Hyperstudy parse the Feko *.out file directly.

The surface area of the sphere will be given at the beginning of the out file:

Surface of all triangles in m*m: 1.25485E+01

And RCS ("scattering cross section") is given as well:

VALUES OF THE SCATTERED ELECTRIC FIELD STRENGTH IN THE FAR FIELD in V Factor e^(-j*Re{BETA}*R)/R not considered LOCATION ETHETA EPHI scattering cross section POLARISATION THETA PHI magn. phase magn. phase in m*m axial r. angle direction 0.00 0.00 5.033E-01 -3.09 1.400E-04 81.35 3.18295E+00 0.0003 0.00 LINEAR

Then use the "ASCII Extracts" option in Hyperstudy to use the parsed data in the studies. See attached pdf where, for example, the S-parameters, are parsed in the OUT file.

The instructions were for an older version of HyperStudy, but I was able to figure it out. Attached is my notes how to did it with 2021.2
