I am trying a simple test to better understand HyperStudy. I am trying to get the Lowest RCS of a sphere with the Radius as the changing variable, while at the same time trying to maximize the volume of the sphere. I also want to weight the volume of the sphere. Files attached show what I tried to do. I watched https://www.altair.com/resource/in-depth-optimisation-with-altair-feko-hyperstudy and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMEVW9fNtd8. But not sure what how to set things up. Attached are the files

A first step would be to just get a basic optimization going in Hyperstudy. Say, for example just optimizing the radius of the sphere with Hyperstudy. You can verify your Hyperstudy results by setting up the optimization with Feko on its own using just OptFeko.

Maybe before that, first do the detailed step-by-step example "I.4 Using Altair HyperStudy with Feko to Optimise a Bandpass Filter" in the Example Guide. If you can replicate those results, then move on to your sphere model.

Thanks, I did the "I.4 Using Altair HyperStudy with Feko to Optimise a Bandpass Filter" in the Example Guide. For I.4.3 step 31, I got a different value for S-2, 1.9263944 and not 1.9254786, but I think that is good enough. I was not able to make the graph in I.4.5 step 5. Also I am not sure what I can doing in Step 19-24 in section I.4.3. I think that is the important area that in need to understand. So, how do I go able minimizing the RCS while having a large value area in the HyperStudy calculations?
