While importing mesh file meshed in ANSYS workbench (*.cbd) properties and orientation information of L beam is getting deleted is there any way to import ANSYS mesh into hypermesh without loss of data?
Just to be sure: Are you using Ansys user profile?
Otherwise it will lose a lot of information.
If it is a CDB file you should get almost everything there. Although, models coming from Ansys change a lot, specially if they come from Workbench.
