Adding vibration for constraints - OptiStruct transient analysis

Hello,

I have a quick question. How would you approach modelling a vibrating constraint? I would like to create a transient analysis in which the SPC/SPCD would also be vibrating. Thanks.

Kind Regards,

JK

when creating a dynamic analysis in OS, you can impose moving noes/dofs exactly by adding these SPCDs inside a TLOAD1 card. TLOAD stands for Transient Load and it transforms your SPCDs into acceleration/velocity or displacement for a transient analysis.

The TLOAD card is also combined to a TABLED1(curve) that imposes the desired behavior.

TLOAD1 (combines SPCD + TABLED1) creating the desired imposed movement in trasnient mode.
