Particle generation in Altair EDEM

My name is Ahmed Rami, I am a student at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. while I was using Altair EDEM to do some simulations I faced a problem I couldn't solve by myself. for some reason after creating a factory no particles are being created in the simulation. I don't know if the Approx. Number of cells that can be seen in the picture I attached is the reason or not but it was the only difference between my simulation and the simulation I saw in the tutorial I was following.

are you sure your model dimensions are correct? maybe instead of mm you're using meters..

Sometimes when importing your geometry it was not imported properly.

Also what kind of factory have you created? depending on the mass rate, less particles would be created.

My model dimensions were wrong as you suggested, I was told to import the geometry in mm

by my supervisor and I did but then I tried to import it in meters and it finally worked.
