How connect 2 solid component?

Here is the rod and spar for the wing structure, I have meshed them for linear static analysis but I found the force acting on the rod does not transfer to the spar. Which tool I should use for connecting the separated components? The screenshot is below. Thanks!.png)

You could use FREEZE contact to quickly glue/bond these 2 parts together.
type Ctrl+F and use the Auto-Contact function to tie these 2 within a specified distance.
