Generating Particles

Hello,

So, when I construct spherical particles with a fixed size distribution and use the simulator settings specified in the attached pdf, the simulation runs properly. However, when I change the distribution of the spherical particle to normal and enter the normal size distribution parameters shown in the pdf, the simulation fails to start unless I increase the simulator settings to absurd values, which cause the simulation to run incredibly slowly. Do you know what the problem is? Details of dimensions are shown in the pdf.

Thank you for your time and consideration

    Hi Ibrahim

According to your image, it seems like you are reducing the particle quite a bit 0.046 times. That is what is causing your simulation to slow down. The smaller the particle you use, the smaller is the timestep required for stable simulation. If you use 'Auto Timestep', EDEM reduces the timestep for calculations accordingly.
    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
